WIP MG Gundam Sinanju

For the MG Sinanju, I decided to make a WIP for it because I planned to put as much detail as I can to it's build. I did not do any modification to the kit except that I did a lot of details in the paint job. I kept the original paint scheme but in the shade that I wanted.
For the armour, I did get the shade of red that I was imagining for it. Just perfect, metallic blood red, just the way I wanted it.

A comparison of the original K.A version red and the blood red I wanted for the finish.

So for the mean time, let's look at the inner frame shall we.
Here I must say, I did not get what I was hoping for for the pistons. I was hoping for chrome but this is as close as I can get.

The base color for the inner frame I used was bare metal but I did put in details to it by using  graphite, dark iron and iron to it. For the black parts, I made it flat and gold trim to have the rustic effect. Sorta like the medieval armour trimmed with gold.

I also added the energy pipes on the waist, and as you can see, I did get the rustic effect on the gold trim.

A close look at the thrusters  It looks better in person though.

Here are some pics to show the details in the inner frame. I made the waist armour in deeper shade of blood red, just to give contrast and toning to the armour.

The hands were painted dark iron. They look better in person, and I forgot to mention, I used toothpick for the gold trimming on the black parts, it made it easier that using a brush.

The inner frame for the shield is just great, combination of bare metal, iron, dark iron and graphite.

This is the detail on the legs. pretty cool. I think you can see here the effect of dark iron on the hand.

So there you have it, the overview of the inner frame. Watch out for the finish product!

Okay, so I finally finished the Sinanju. All decals are also installed to the last detail. I hope ya'll like it.

This is not supposed to be in this blog, but I just want to add it anyway.
This is my custom made G-shock inspire by the Gundam Sinanju.
